The Web Team visited the production plant to present the new features of the web site.

As part of the explanation, a video was shown that summarizes the changes generated by the Internet to the world, and how our way of communicating has changed too.

Dr. Isaac Waserstein explained the objectives and benefits of keeping an updated website, which represents a world display.  He stimulated everyone to visit the page and to participate with commentaries or suggestions.

Social Responsibility area at Stein carried out several activities in order to keep conscience on the importance of conservation, reforestation, recycling, reuse, reduction and resource saving.

As part of this environmental tradition, Stein gave to all employees and their families, 500 trees ready to be planted in order to contribute to reforestation.

About 144 employees participated in discussions and workshops about ecology.  Wearing a distinctive pin, 236 commitments were made by employees in topics such as energy saving, vehicle usage reduction, reforestation, paper and ink saving, water saving, use of biodegradable products and recycling as part of Stein’s culture.

Laboratorios Stein and Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (Ulacit) recently signed an agreement, which aim to make cooperation projects between both institutions in fields such as investigation, teaching, permanent education, education technology and innovation, as well as activities for updating, training or improvement that may be of interest for both institutions.

The agreement was signed within the framework of a conference for odontology students and their teachers. Mariela Padilla, Dean of Odontology at ULACIT and Dr. Isaac Waserstein, President of Stein Laboratories, signed the agreement.
