In 1980, social need was the breeding ground from where a great company emerged. We responded to the crisis of the time, which jeopardized the health of Costa Ricans.

The Costa Rican social security system was about to collapse, given the national economic difficulty in facing the increasing costs of pharmaceutical products coming from international corporations. Starting at that time, we became a local supplier for the market of social security, making 47 pharmaceutical products available to the population.

In the 90’s we changed our business strategy, covering the private sector and incorporating new technologies. At that time we started our operations in Honduras, Panama, El Salvador and Guatemala.

At the present time, we have expanded our operations to the rest of Central America and have entered the markets of Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

Our company has 600 direct employees, 34% of whom are professionals. We have more than 100 medical visitors in charge of marketing our products, and around 50 direct promoters for drugstores.
