In December, 2009, Nuestra Señora de Fátima School offered an activity to inaugurate the Computer Laboratory and the Educational Services Module.  Stein Laboratories, represented by its presidente, Dr. Isaac Waserstein, was invited to address the public, among which were representatives of the Education Ministry, Omar Dengo Foundation, non-profit organizations and many students with desire to learn and to develop with this new educational tool.

Five years ago Stein Laboratories had its first contact with Nuestra Señora de Fátima School by means of its interdisciplinary team, and since 2004 it has been working for the development of children in this school, through different educational processes and integral formation.

The Social Responsibility Program at Stein has been promoting a group of entrepreneur women, all of them a head of a family, who received a training in bakery.  In order to introduce them to the business world, and to let them develop skills and contacts, Stein invited them to make a bakery tasting with the company’s employees.
